Wendy Ann Gardner is an Art Teacher, Children's Book Author, Plush Toy Maker and Crafter originally from Toronto, Canada. She began her career as a painter, studying at the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her whimsical illustrations have been commissioned by many companies, notably, Target, Nylabone, and Paul Frank Industries and licensed worldwide to create various products including, plush toys, children’s clothing, books, stationery, lollipops, stickers, greeting cards, pet toys, watches, wallets, handbags, t-shirts and pajamas. Her series of four children’s books were published by Hyperion and the animated TV series, THE NAUGHTY NAUGHTY PETS, has aired on Cartoon Network, CBC Canada, BBC UK, and NHK Japan. Wendy is currently working on a musical, stage version of the Naughty Naughty Pets, set to make its Off-Broadway debut in 2024.
