East Orange, New Jersey native Jonell Brown currently serves as a teaching artist in the NYC public school system, working as a film academy and podcasting instructor. Additionally, she produces biographies and press releases for recording artists, authors, and nonprofit organizations. The Spelman alumna is a dedicated creative professional with experience in news writing, investigative journalism, multimedia reporting, administrative processes, and content development. Brown is a self-motivated ambivert who is comfortable working in multilingual, high-pressure environments to craft stories and confidently conduct business. Brown has established herself as a global storyteller who loves sharing the truth. She is proficient in English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish. In 2020, she translated the creative vision and co-wrote the screenplay about producer Drusilla-Talley-Williams’ late niece Samantha and her music promotions career and tragic passing to life. During her free time, Brown writes impassioned poetry reflecting a woman’s experience with life, empowerment, and love.
