Class Description
Learn the basics of Jazz and Lyrical dancing from a veteran Broadway performer.
In this course, we start with the basics. What is a plie, a tendu, how do we spot during a turn, how can we master coordination, memorize a dance combination? Students will learn all this and more in this course. We will also collaborate and play some fun choreography games, and practice safe stretching techniques.
This course is best taught in a classroom with access to mirrors and non-carpeted floors, but does not require either.
