I am a certified New York State public-school teacher specializing in the area of Technology and its applications for career development. For the last 20 years, I have instructed many students of diverse cultures and backgrounds, including non-English speakers, to not only learn how to use the computer, but how to effectively apply it to enhance their math and reading skills. Through my pedagogy, we learn how to incorporate hardware and software applications while infusing current technologies such as the Cloud and Office applications on both Mac and PC platforms. As a Chess coach, I am a member of the United States Chess Federation, and currently, tutor children and adults who have minimal or no experience. In 2013 my middle school chess team finished 1st place overall in the Non-Rated division (a group mostly encompassed by children with little or no experience). Additionally, I personally compete in tournaments: recently winning 4 of 5 games in the 16TH ANNUAL MANHATTAN OPEN 2017 (NY), allowing me to finish with a 1597 rating.
