My Name is Matthew “Spire” Bennett - Fieman, I’m a Brooklyn based artist with my focus in painting. I hold a BFA from the Art Institute of Boston and have been exhibiting my work in NYC, Miami, and Boston over the past 5 years. In addition to showcasing my work, I am very passionate about teaching and helping other artists expand their craft. I’m currently a studio instructor at Artsclub in the East Village, where I teach non-artists different techniques used in art history. Before that, I taught my own spray paint class called School of Street Art which taught students a basic history and techniques using aerosol paint. I’m a true believer that creativity is a tool for humanity to express and better ourselves and our communities. I’m well versed in collaboration, and working in disciplines outside of my comfort zone.
