Hello, I'm Meghan Gaucher. I am a dance educator, choreographer, and performer with over twenty years of teaching experience and a BA in Dance from Dean College. I began my dance training at age three and have studied ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and ballroom. I have taught students ages two through ninety-two in recreational, competitive, professional, and continuing education settings. My teaching career spans dance studios, public and private schools, and colleges throughout Massachusetts, including guest artist engagements at Boston Arts Academy and Harvard University. Most recently, I worked alongside Tony Williams as a teacher, performer, choreographer, and rehearsal coach for The Urban Nutcracker and other productions. I am currently developing original music and choreography for an upcoming performance art production exploring societal and historical constructs. My creative work is guided by my belief that “art exists in every facet of life, waiting to be unveiled and brought to fruition.” I especially love sharing my knowledge, artistry, and experience with children, giving them opportunities to explore their creativity and express themselves through movement. I believe movement is a fundamental form of human expression—a way to communicate feelings, ideas, and experiences that words may not fully capture. Through technical training and creative exploration, I strive to help each student feel seen, build confidence, and develop skills they can carry beyond the classroom.
