Bobbie W.
Multidisciplinary Artist
Philadelphia
- I used to be a competitive figure skater! I've done performance art with these transferable skills.
- I am a big fan of the Hunger Games series and enjoy creative writing.
- I love metalworking! I built a swing for my college thesis.
I'm an interdisciplinary artist, teacher, and fabricator based in Philadelphia, where I bring ideas to life through illustration, painting, and sculpture. Printmaking is my creative side quest, and I’m always up for experimenting. I'm Taiwanese American and fluent in both Mandarin and English—perfect for chatting or art-making in two languages. I earned my BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. When I’m not in the studio, I’m probably hanging out with my corgi, Mochi, who doubles as my sidekick and mischief manager.
