John H.
Dungeons and Dragons, Shakespeare, Improv, and all manner of Nerdery
New York City
- I ran 50 hours a week of roleplaying games during Covid Quarantine, 13 games a week!
- As one of my ongoing youth players was leaving for college, he told me 'You're the youngest older person I know'. I took it as a compliment!
- My favorite Shakespeare play is Othello (though I think King Lear is likely the best), and my favorite improviser is Colin Mochrie, of Whose Line Is It Anyway
Howdy! I've been running roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons consistently for 29 years, and have been doping so as my full time job for the last 7. My background is in classical and improvisational theatre. My general vibe is teaching through play, and am particularly good with connecting with young folks on their level.
