Soterios H.
Mechanical Engineering, STEM Education & Hands-On Science
New York City
- I used to play D3 college volleyball
- I can make the best snowballs for throwing!
- I spent a big part of my childhood helping my dad run a small business making ice cream deliveries across NYC.
I'm a Mechanical Engineering student with a passion for making science accessible and exciting for young learners. This summer, I'll be developing thermal components for Naval Reactors — and I bring that same curiosity and energy into the classroom, breaking down big ideas like conservation laws, energy, and forces into fun, hands-on experiments kids can actually feel and see. I believe every child has the potential to think like an engineer. Whether running a simple experiment or guiding a group through a new concept, my goal is to spark that 'aha!' moment and build a foundation that will stay with them for years to come.
