Martial Arts and Science
- I have been teaching/ tutoring/ mentoring in math science since undergrad
- I have a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
- I have been competing in jiu jitsu for over 3 years
I am a recent Biomedical Engineering PhD that started martial arts while in graduate school. My science background spans across math, cellular biology, physiology, chemistry and physics. I began training brazilian jiu jitsu and Muay Thai almost 4 years ago and quickly jumped into competing. Competition experience really helped me improve my teaching skills and I enjoy helping others get involved in martial arts.
