Muay Thai and self defense training toward community autonomy. Focused on understanding full body and spirit wellness as essential aspects of self defense. ✨ I am a dedicated and disciplined martial artist with 17+ years of training and teaching experience. I began teaching Muay Thai when I was 13 years old, my Sifu would have me and a few other students assist with teaching the younger children’s Muay Thai class. In 2021 I began my traveling training business called @Metamorphosis.MuayThai, I travel to students all over New York City and some parts of New Jersey. Muay Thai was essential in shaping me into the confident, passionate and powerful person I am today. I am passionate about teaching martial arts, especially to youth because I understand first hand the potential for cultivating mentally, emotionally, spiritually and communally strong young people through the discipline, community building and self-worth intrinsic in martial arts practices and schools. If it were not for Muay Thai and the community that I was cultivated alongside while coming of age in the dojo, I believe my passion and righteous rage would have been my downfall. Instead the discipline I learned helped me cultivate my passions into several outlets for the betterment of myself and the world.
