• In addition to my commitment to the arts and education, I am an outdoors enthusiast with a keen interest in and appreciation for nature. for in nature
• When I am not teaching, practicing art, or spending time in the woods, I enjoy racquet sports (pickleball & tennis) and look forward to learning paddle tennis.
• Above all, I am kind and patient and believe in bringing out the best in others

My goal is to engage young children in the joys and challenges of creative expression through open-ended artmaking. With over thirty years of teaching experience at an independent school for young children and a deep understanding of child development, I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment in which children are given the time and space they need to connect and create. I strive to know and appreciate each child for who they are in order to help them thrive. I offer a variety of open-ended art activities that invite children to explore and experience different mediums and techniques. Each child will come away with unique artwork as well as a sense of purpose and belonging.
