Hey all! I am a Software Engineer living in New York city who is extremely passionate about sports. I grew up playing table tennis, soccer, basketball, and baseball until age 16. I continued on with soccer and table tennis more competitively. I played on the US national team for table tennis and traveled the world competing against the best players and getting coached by the best coaches. I also competed in soccer at the state level. Playing these two sports gave me an understanding of team and individual sports and I spent many of my summers coaching students between the age of 5-16 in both sports. I then went on to UC Berkeley and became a software engineer which I have almost 10 years of experience in. After college I wanted to commit myself to a new sport in my adult years and have been playing tennis 2/3 times a week for the last 3 years working myself up to USTA 4.5/5.0. I am very passionate about these sports and STEM and enjoy seeing students become passionate about their hobbies. I am currently getting my USTA certification (Level 1 PTR).
