I'm Miss. Dee, Dhwani Sikri, a Pratt Institute graduate in 3D animation. My journey includes teaching fine arts at Highland Park's Academy Art, where I collaborated with my mentor, Ana E Soto Canino, assisting in classes for people aged 4-60+. Currently, I'm a 5th-grade teacher with the Academy of Animated Art (AAA) and Togetherhood, offering stop-motion animation classes. Passionate about unleashing children's creativity, I've ventured into the industry as a compositing artist, contributing to Bill Plympton's feature film "Slide." In 2022, I worked on the stop-motion project "Sick Bay," creating and animating puppets for a short film set in a pirate hospital. Graduating from Pratt in 2023, my capstone showcased environment works blending 2D and 3D with a painterly stylization. Presently, I teach with Togetherhood and freelance, specializing in prop and asset work for environments and characters. Let's continue bringing imagination to life!
