Hi my name is Feng, a martial arts teacher with over 10 years experience and a Master's in Educational Leadership. I specialize in introducing young learner to the art of Capoeira, a martial arts from Brazil, as well as having ample experience with older students all the way to the 12th grade. My teaching philosophy is rooted in helping children develop discipline, resilience, and confidence through martial arts. I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where every child feels comfortable and safe. In my classes, I focus on fundamental movements that help children build strong and capable bodies. I always put safety first, but I also believe that learning should be fun. Outside of class, you will find me making artwork and/or other crafts or having fun in the kitchen exploring a new recipe.
