Class Description
In this playful introduction to performance and production, students explore different styles of acting each week, from musical theater and improv to green screen acting and puppetry. Through theater games, movement activities, prop and costume creation, and hands-on “stage science,” students discover the many ways stories come to life both onstage and behind the scenes. Designed especially for little learners, this class encourages creativity, teamwork, self-expression, and imaginative play while helping students build confidence and connect with their ensemble. Facilitated by Liz Livingston, a theater artist and educator who holds an MFA in Acting from American Repertory Theater at Harvard University/Moscow Art Theater.

Howdy! My name is Liz and I'm a theater artist and educator specializing in "edu-tainment." I've partnered with TogetherHood to bring interactive, bespoke experiences to your community. I develop workshops that bring your vision to life through take-home crafts, interactive learning, and memorable moments. From family-focused holiday workshops to science/craft fairs, I combine my background as a professional performer with my decade of children's theater production experience so that your event feels entertaining, elevated, and EASY. My education highlights include: * MFA in Acting from Moscow Art Theatre/ART at Harvard University * Acting instructor and producer in NYC theaters/arts spaces * Certified in yoga/mindfulness and SEL training
