PS/IS 119 is a hub of learning, inquiry, collaboration, and exploration that is grounded in educating and supporting the whole child, empowering our students to be agents of change who take ownership of their learning, and are seen as partners in dictating the path toward their educational and social-emotional experiences. Our students and school community work in tandem to create a positive atmosphere and environment of excellence that embraces all learners and experiences, steeped in rigor, culturally and linguistically responsive practices, and fun, while supporting 21st century skills to prepare them for a successful transition to high school and toward post-secondary goals.
