I am a Brooklyn based educator. I have:
-A Master's in Education and emphasis in Deaf Teaching methods from UC San Diego
-Over 13 years of formal and informal teaching experience
-Musical Theatre acting experience
-A colorful personality
-Strong intermediate American Sign Language skills
-Compassion, Patience

What my resume cannot illustrate is how I am able to complete given responsibilities. My work is completed efficiently, accurately, and creatively. I hold the viewpoint that effective and free-flowing communication is imperative in completing tasks. With a friendly face and colorful personality, I have proven to make people feel comfortable around me. I enjoy learning from others and building upon ideas and strengths to find solutions. Earning my M.Ed. allowed me to engage in multicultural, equitable, and research-based educational practices. I have worked with children ranging from pre-K to high schoolers. My passions also include a comprehensive background within the realms of musical theatre and ASL interpreting; so I have developed tenacity with discipline, organization, memorization, connecting to others, and appreciating diversity.
I believe I am a compassionate person, which is a quality I find important for engaging with children. My experiences throughout the years have prepared me to work in a variety of environments. My well-roundedness and positive attitude would significantly benefit your child's educational path.
