Hi! My name is Jules. I’m a social worker, yogi, and mindful movement enthusiast! I work with children all year round providing therapeutic services through cognitive based therapy approaches, using yoga and breath work to teach emotional regulation. I’m energetic, LOUD, and fun! I love working with children and adolescents because their energy and power is unstoppable with the right support! I have found that incorporating play, yoga, and mindful movement into the daily routine not only enhances students’ physical well-being but also significantly improves their emotional and mental health. These activities encourage students to be present, develop self-regulation skills, and foster a sense of calm and focus that is essential for learning.

I’ve been practicing for over 6 years, and I am in the process of finishing my 500 hour training with a yoga studio called ISHTA yoga in Manhattan, New York. I assist at the studio, offer private and small group classes, and teach yoga often in correlation to my work as a therapist.

I am passionate about bringing yoga to others and sharing space / energy. I feel very empowered by lifting others, and I believe that I can do this in a yoga class, environment, and community. I thrive on adaptation and challenges. I am open minded, creative, and not afraid to take risks. I love to learn and I believe that learning never stops. I would love to be a part of your space, learning more about yoga, making yoga more accessible to people, specifically people who may not always be interested in practicing.
