Rupert Krueger is a lifelong martial artist, theater maker, and educator with a passion for early childhood development. Having experienced the benefits of martial arts as a child himself, Rupert strongly believes in the positive impact training can have on young children. Rupert started his martial arts education at 5 years old studying Goju Ryu in his hometown of Syracuse NY, where he reached the rank of Nidan-Ho Blackbelt (2nd Degree). Rupert left his Dojo to pursue his college education, where he then trained in Judo and Tai Chi until his graduation and relocation to NYC. Over the past few years Rupert has studied and taught Krav Maga, and is a practicing Aikidoka. With a focus on self defense, goal achievement and body autonomy, Rupert teaches a hybrid model of martial arts, using the foundations of Okinawan Karate and techniques of modern self defense to build a class model accessible and relevant to all ages.
