I was born and raised in chicago and moved to NYC in 2017 to attend NYU's Studio Arts program. In the program I was able to develop my skills and passions for ceramics, fiber arts, drawing, painting, printmaking, graphic design and woodwork. Now that I have recently graduated with my BFA, I want to use the skills and techniques that I learned at NYU to introduce young minds to art and to foster a creative and encouraging environment.

I absolutely love teaching art to children and have been lucky enough to have the opportunity of teaching art in NYC public schools as well as be a mentor to a young artist through the non-profit Art Start. I strongly believe that everyone, especially children, should be able to express themselves through creative mediums no matter what skill level or familiarity with materials they have. Creative outlets are so vital in emotional development, confidence boosting and self reflection. Art allows for children to explore and work in a non-judgemental environment.
