Hi! My name is Sarah and I have been teaching dance and theatre for 9 years. I am originally from Ohio where I attended Bowling Green State University before moving to Las Vegas. I just moved to NYC from Las Vegas, and would love to teach for Togetherhood. I have experience teaching ages 7-22, and all levels from beginner to advanced. Some of my most recent teaching jobs include Millennium Dance Complex Las Vegas (Jazz, Theatre Jazz, Heels), Theatre Arts Prepatory School (Jazz: Contemporary, Commercial), The Spring and Summer Theatre Intensives for the City of Las Vegas & Rainbow Theatre Company, and Florida Rep Theatre Education (Choreographer). As a choreographer and educator, I believe in the importance of authentic, story-driven movement. I strive to make every student believe they can be a strong dancer, regardless of their experience or previous training. Creating a positive and inclusive environment for students to conquer their fears and dive headfirst into new theatrical experiences is and always will be my priority.
