Hello! I received a B.S. degree in Fashion Design with a focus in Product Development. I worked in the fashion industry for four years and for the past seven years, I have been pursuing my career in education as a Visual Arts Educator. I teach a wide range of visual arts styles from graffiti to watercolor and love to connect famous artists and artworks to my learning context. I teach in a project-based learning style, which encourages scholars to take their education into their own hands by giving them creative leadership and responsibility. My approach is centered around creating engaging and relevant projects that allow students to explore their interests and develop their skills in a meaningful way. By encouraging students to take ownership of their learning, I am able to foster a sense of curiosity and excitement in the classroom that helps to make learning more enjoyable and effective. I also love to throw a great themed party and every year, I host a fashion show, talent show and art show. I am extremely outgoing and love to socialize with my students about their interests and dreams for the future.
