Hello! I am an artist and educator with an MA in Visual Art Education and NYSED teaching certification for grades K-12. I have been working as a teaching artist for over four years, with specific experience in teaching design thinking and sustainable practices at the lower elementary level. My personal artistic practice generates social engagement through performance, installation, and tiny soft multisensory works. I am passionate about the revolutionary power of drag performance as a storytelling medium and teaching tool for learners of all ages, and I'm involved in multiple community-based projects that combine my love of drag with my expertise in teaching art. I gravitate towards project-based learning, centering process over product and challenging students to solve creative problems and discover their own agency as artists.
