Hi Togetherhood family :) My name is Monica Naranjo. I am 27 years old and graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor in Fine Arts. Currently I am a yoga instructor at CorePower Yoga in NYC and as a teacher's assistant at Togetherhood. I was born and raised in Costa Rica (very beautiful country-- I recommend the beaches to everyone) and moved to New York 3 years ago to pursue my dreams of a better career. I believe in the power of children and how teaching can deeply influence the future of all. I have experienced through my teaching experience, the amazing perspectives and beautiful ways that children use to connect with us. Children have a natural way to see life in beautiful colors and they inspire me every day! I dream of creating a safe space of art where children can create, collaborate and learn the power of hands on art experiences.
