Hello!

I am a Pratt Institute alum with my Bachelor's in Illustration. It's my honor to be able to teach what I am most passionate about. Previously I have worked for both the non-profit sector of education and private after school teaching. My lesson plans in the past have involved structuring lesson plans around children with learning disabilities in a step-by-step format that centers the students' interests and ensures that no child fall behind in instruction. In my time as an after school teacher, I have created lesson plans for children ages 3-6 in simple, color centric projects based off of famous paintings and artists.

My personal work and passion surrounds the creation of comics and storytelling. My favorite medium for storytelling is in comic format. Comics have so much potential for how literary devices and gets children really involved in a narrative!
