Rufina Gilkarov is a Professional Fine Art Educator for the past 25 years. She has a broad approach in teaching, art principles through drawing, painting, art history, printmaking, illustrations, comic cartooning, photography, animation and VR Tilt brush. The works and techniques of master artists and global cultures are used to inspire students to express their own inner creative ideas. Her first art show was in high school at the age of 16, a drawing of an Etute (still life) that was featured at her school gallery with other participants. She also won an Artist fellowship Scholarship at age of 19 for a summer program in Israel. There she discovered her new knowledge around Israel culture and arts. She collaborated her art with different students on the program in creating fun murals and ceramic sculptures in school environments. As she progressed her art continued to develop and flourish. When she got accepted on a partial scholarship at F.I.T she majored in Fine Arts & Minor in Biology and interior design. Rufina spent her free time taking the advantage of New York's rich art culture, spending her time visiting art museums and galleries. During freshman year at F.I.T her professor and board directors selected a few of her works to be featured in their school gallery
