I recently received my Ph.D. in Comparative Literature with a Specialization in Italian from The Graduate Center, CUNY. I wrote my dissertation on the films of Italian animator Bruno Bozzetto, and during graduate school my research focused on Italian cinema and culture, film theory, television, and animation. I have also been a college Italian instructor for eight years. The daughter of an Italian immigrant, I am passionate about all things Italy, and sharing this love with others. Additionally, I have a lifelong love affair with words: reading them, writing them, learning them and speaking them.
