Lee is a cartoonist, animator, and educator with a passion for teaching creative storytelling animation. His cartooning career started early while in grade school in Minnesota and continued through high school where he would draw cartoons and caricatures in his notebooks. Lee left the frigid midwest to attended the Art Institute and earned his degree in Advertising Design and Marketing.
He then made the move to NYC where he was employed as a staff illustrator at a graphic arts toy packaging studio while attended night school at School of Visual Arts learning traditional animation and cartooning. After working with major animation companies, such as, Nickelodeon, DOUG, Jumbo Pictures/Disney TV, MAX AND HIS ALPHABET ADVENTURES, and COURAGE, Stretch Films/Cartoon Network. Lee then taught Adobe Flash Character animation (Animate) and Cartooning/ Motion graphics classes for over a decade at Pratt Manhattan until late 2016 and recently started teaching K12 art residencies classes (2022-2023) in the New York Metropolitan area. Lee is excited to teach/coach your child traditional animation principles and creative modern digital techniques while created a short video.
