Hello! Since I was fifteen years old, I have taught gymnastics with a passion and enthusiasm that allows for everyone to enjoy the sport. From GymStars Brooklyn to GymTime Rhythm and Blues, I can teach in a state of the art facility or in your very own school. For me, gymnastics is not about how many splits you can do or how fast you can handspring. The first step is trusting yourself to be upside down and the rest is smooth sailing.
When creating your lesson, expect to have fun while also continuing to move and practice. I specialize in elementary to intermediate skills that will help prepare kids for going onto the next level or simply enjoying their new found skills. My philosophy towards teaching is that first we must trust our body. Once we do that, the ability to develop our skills will come more fluidly. Nothing happens overnight! However, things do happen overtime with practice and acceptance.
Currently, I can find me around Brooklyn and Manhattan, working as a freelancer entertainer for kid's parties and beyond. When I am not teaching or hosting, you can generally find me in Prospect Park or any anti gravity yoga class or catch a circus class. Come cartwheel with me! In addition to being a gymnast, I have also worked extensively in garden to table initiatives for children as well as nutritional plant knowledge. My skills include gardening. composting, and knowledge regarding flowers, seasonal vegetables, and bee pollination. The earth around us feeds us and it is imperative to know how it can!
