I am a highly trained Fine Artist. I studied formally for 6 years, and am proficient in many fine art mediums, from 2d, to digital, to 3d. I studied at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts High School, as well as the Maryland Institute College of Art. Art is my passion, and I have spent my whole life learning new skills, developing my voice, and advancing knowledge. I am now sharing that well of knowledge with students.

I believe that to teach someone how to create is to teach them how to connect. Not only do I offer technical skills, critiques, and constant improvement of craft, but also the nuance and thoughtfulness to make insightful and meaningful art. Art is expression, it is a language, and I will teach it to my students with care and precision. I am trained in trauma informed and individualized education, I meet my students where they are and take the time and care to accommodate their learning style so that they may grow.

My goal in life is to share the language of art, and the pathway to creativity with others. I have experience doing so in classrooms , in workshops, in progressive art studios, and in one-on-one advisory settings.
