STEM, graphic design and inclusivity
- I have two kids aged 6, and 4, and use the gentle parent approach to mummying
- I was an Art Director for a game called Paradise Cove for 7 years.
- I am passionate about running, meditation, and breath work.
I am an artist, graphic designer, and educator who combines my skills to create engaging lesson
for students. I have taught a wide range of subjects including Robotics, Coding, Stop Motion
animation, and Art and Design.
I am driven by conversations on social justice, climate change, and inclusivity.
My teaching philosophy leans towards progressive. I aim to honor students, creativity and
individual aptitude to drive my lessons. In my project-based learning approach, I cover more
than subject. I like to trick my students in learning through hands on activities, and foster a love
and joy for learning.
Following the pandemic, I have become more cognizant of the need for students to learn to
manage their emotions. I often use meditative music in the classroom, and take breathing
breaks when needed, and offer whatever support I can for their social and emotional growth.
I want to nurture independent learners who are compassionate, empathetic, and apply the
skills they learn in the classroom to the outside world.
