Diana DiMarzio is a NYC based singer/actor and graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. She has
appeared on theatrical and concert hall stages around the world and was the Beggar Woman in the
critically acclaimed, Tony Award winning Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd opposite Patti LuPone and
Michael Cerveris and directed by Tony Award winner, John Doyle. Her personal acclaim came from
Stephen Sondheim when he thanked her for “singing the role as I had originally intended”. She has since
revived her role regularly both in the United States and abroad. She was also seen on Broadway as Annie
Dummermut in The Visit starring Chita Rivera and the late Roger Rees. She can be heard on both of these
Broadway cast recordings. She has performed in numerous First National Tours and was a guest soloist
with many Symphony Orchestras Nationally and abroad.
She has worked closely with celebrated talents, composers, conductors and directors in New York City.
These professional opportunities have not only afforded her an artistic sense that she cherishes but has
also deepened her knowledge of the industry and business savvy.
