- I've been a vegetarian for over twenty years
- My wife and I got married in October because we love Halloween
- I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd, so much so that I have a Harry Potter tattoo on my arm.
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio - I attended Ohio University and received my degree in theatrical performance in 2010. I moved to NYC shortly after and in the time since I've performed off broadway; had a number of my own plays developed and staged across the city and midwest; as well as spent an (almost) embarrassing amount of time playing and teaching Dungeons and Dragons with friends, family, and pretty much anyone I can talk into giving it a try.
I've been playing and running games for the past decade. I'm familiar with both 5th edition of dungeons and dragons as well as 7th edition of Call of Cthulhu and a few other ttrpg's as well. At the beginning of the pandemic, without much else to do, I decided to run a massive, 20 person, "West Marches" style game focusing on introducing the game to people who had never experienced Dungeons and Dragons before and wanted to learn. In my time as a GM I've taught dozens of people how to play and played with hundreds. I'm comfortable running both narrative driven games with an emphasis on role-play and improv, as well as tactically driven games with an emphasis on game mechanics and strategy. Above all I believe the point and beauty of table-top role-playing games is shared, collective story-telling with the overall goal being player cooperation and fun. The first and last rule in any game is: everyone should be having a good time.
When I'm not doing any of the above I spend my time working as a Camera Operator for the Today Show and lounging with my cat Lima.
