- I have been known to mix a paste that is the same hue as my friend's skin tone from soy sauce, wasabi and ginger while at sushi dinners.
- I have been known to give art history tours to my friends at the Metropolitan Museum of Art that draws a crowd. Giving tours at NYC museums are on my bucket list.
- I have been known to talk strangers into loving an art history movement through my excitement and weird tidbits of artist knowledge.
I love art, art history, and all forms, from immersive media to classical realistic oil painting. With a background in classical painting, graphic design, and illustration, I love sharing my passion through teaching and lectures. Whether it's discussing Renaissance techniques or diving into contemporary art theory, I'm all in.
My favorite painters are Chaim Soutine, Jenny Saville, and Cecily Brown. I can talk to anyone, a novice or expert about art and get them excited and interested in learning more. Art, to me, is the best human expression.
Career-wise, I developed an immersive wing of immersive media films for a DEI conference in New York City for two years.
I briefly worked at a blue-chip gallery focused on contemporary art in the artist liaison department.
I am a frequent lecturer and teacher for organizations, including Girls Write Now and CUNY College. I attended two classical art ateliers, emphasizing Renaissance and Old Master painting techniques in Florence and New York City. I also studied photography, video, and graphic design at SVA, and have a BFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
