I am a former theatre teacher with ten years of teaching experience and fifteen years of childcare experience with all ages and neurodiversity levels. I am passionate about using D&D to reinforce teaching curriculum and customize games to make learning fun and accessible. I have also worked as an actor, stage manager, and technician and love to share silly stories, help students break out of their shell, and act like a fool with my students! I moved to New York five years ago from a small town in Rhode Island in order to explore my creative range and never thought I would end up playing Dungeons&Dragons for a living, but, it has been an invaluable tool in getting students to become more comfortable in themselves and push themselves out of their comfort zones. It also helps with social/emotional learning, math skills, and collaborative problem solving with peers.
