When seeking a new pair of shoes, you check off a list of fundamentals. Sometimes, you are simply looking for comfort or durability. Other times, you are seeking diversity, personality, and fashion over function. Walking in a truly good pair of shoes can completely alter someone's personality and overall contribution to the world. As an instructor in the Arts, I believe the mission is simple: “walk the walk”. Being an artist means having the ability to make art through any form of expression you choose. To be able to share that with children and allow them to do the same is my everyday joy. Having performed, taught, and worked in the New York City entertainment and education system for ten years, I have attained the necessary skills to flourish in my future career aspirations. I am highly organized, and goal-oriented and I have always enjoyed working with people and bettering the community and myself in the workplace. I have a polished repertoire with my peers and fellow colleagues and have the ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment. I believe I can bring unique ideas to the table when generating creativity and I am a dependable and trustworthy leader and teammate. At the end of the day, no matter what type of dancing shoes you're wearing, sharing joy through art is the best feeling in the world. Truly "walking the walk" is what I aspire to do for the rest of my life.
