Nickolas James is an American tenor lauded for his uniquely bright timbre and charismatic performances. He is currently a master’s student at temple University and has performed a multitude of principle roles across a wide range of styles. Among them are Male Chorus in The Rape of Lucretia, Lurcanio in Ariodante, and most notably, White Rabbit in the premiere of Amy Scurria’s A.L.I.C.E.
As an educator, Nickolas has had the pleasure of working with kids ages 5+ as voice teacher, stage director, and music director. In 2021, Nickolas took on a position as Musical Theater Director at the Frisco School of Music and Performing Arts, where he successfully staged 8 productions across his 2 year stint before moving to Philadelphia to complete his master's degree.
