- I'm a big Stevie Nicks fan and got to play her AND Madonna in an 80s show this spring.
- I used to perform immersive theatre in a cheeky 1930s accent for 450 people a night at Sleep No More. My alter ego, "Bambi" has to improv for Benedict Cumberbatch, Tyra Banks, Selena Gomez, and Justin Timberlake without breaking character. Tyra almost got me.
- The earliest I've had to show up for a theatre gig was 3am, and the latest I've left a theatre gig is 4am. This to say, I will always have the energy and drive to be fully present for your child any time of day! Coffee does help.
Mikayla (she/her/) is a New York-based actor, singer, producer.
Mikayla has performed at Lincoln Center, Off-Broadway, Sleep No More, Joe’s Pub at the Public, The Signature Theatre, the New York Musical Theatre Festival, Succession, The Gilded Age, Inventing Anna, Gossip Girl, and is a featured recurring performer on Saturday Night Live.
She has worked alongside Molly Shannon, Pedro Pascal, Billie Eilish, Ana de Armas, Neil Patrick Harris and more and looks forward to bringing her professional experience to the classroom where the spark of creativity and performing often begins!
She is a producer at 54 Below (Broadway's living room, formerly Studio 54) where her concerts have featured the talents of Broadway performers in the Lion King, Wicked, Back to the Future, Ragtime, Six, Hamilton, Into the Woods, Hadestown and more.
In her off-time, she is an instructor and performer for musical theatre, comedy, improv, immersive theatre and public speaking and playwriting for companies like Togetherhood, Young Storytellers and Off the Lane. She is also a Senior Pilates Instructor at EQUINOX for both privates and group fitness (this is for you, parents! Give me a ring if you need to treat yourself x)
