Hi! I'm Nicole Tiernan and I am a Sport and Fitness Instructor. I attended Temple University, where I graduated with a Bachelor's in Kinesiology and played for the Women's Lacrosse team. I then earned my Master's in Sport and Exercise Medicine from the University of Nottingham in England where I played and coached women's lacrosse. My teaching philosophy centers on two values: teamwork and fun! Whether we are learning new sports, working on our fitness or competing in friendly competition, I strive to create an environment where students can collaborate to succeed. Sport and fitness have been a major facet throughout my life. I've played many sports, focusing on lacrosse in college and professionally. I've coached lacrosse for over seven years and have over seven years experience teaching exercise in a physical therapy setting. When I'm not working or teaching, I am probably walking dogs in my neighborhood!
