Hi! I'm Rasel Ali, a passionate guy who believes that our greatest lessons come from the world around us. My own journey began when I arrived in this country eager to build a new life. As a first-generation immigrant I quickly learned that the most important thing I could do was to expose myself to everything this city has to offer. New York City became my teacher offering daily lessons in language, culture, and incredible food. However, my most influential teachers have been the students I work with. Working with children in school has been the most amazing course in becoming fluent in English. Their honest questions, playful jokes, and boundless energy pushed me to learn and adapt in ways I never imagined. They have taught me how to think on my feet and find joy in every new situation. In our classroom I strive to create that same environment of brave curiosity, where we all learn from each other's unique stories and experiences.
