Hi I am Matthew DInhofer and I am 29 years old and live in New York City. My professional history goes back to being an accountant but more relevant experience over the last few years I have been a basketball coach for ages 5-12 years old. I volunteered for Volo as well as coaching at Rosow Elite Performance. I love everything about sports, whether it's watching, playing, the strategy behind the game, the fundamentals etc. I want to be able to teach my knowledge and bring a fun environment for kids. Playing soccer and basketball in high school as well as playing many other sports growing up, I understand how to be a good coach from having experienced good and bad coaches growing up. My teaching philosophy is to learn and have fun and I feel like these go hand and hand with each other. Not to nitpick what the kids are doing, but to show them a different approach and help them build upon their skills. Every practice will build onto the next one and I really hope to see improvement from class to class.
