Amanda Kingloff is the creative mind behind ProjectKid.com, a brand devoted to helping families build imaginative, beautiful lives through hands-on creativity. Formerly the lifestyle director at Parents magazine, Amanda is the author of several craft books, including Project Kid and Project Kid: Crafts That Go!, filled with inventive DIY projects that combine materials in unusual ways. While Amanda loves to create content, she gleans the best craft ideas from working with kids in real life. Amanda has lead countless craft workshops all over New York City, including a collaborative series with the Museum of the City of New York. She has also developed craft curricula for multiple summer camps on the East Coast. With a focus on crafts that are meant to be kept and proudly displayed, her mission is to empower kids to create the world they want to live in. She lives in Brooklyn, NY, with her husband, two kids, and cutest dog in the world.
