Angelika Anastasio (She/They) received her B.F.A. in Acting with a Musical Theater Minor from Marymount Marymount Manhattan College. Some of her theater credits include Nina in In The Heights at White Plains Performing Arts Center, Squirelle u/s Piggie in Elephant and Piggie: We Are in a Play at Hope Summer Repertory Theater, Hannah in Blue Off-Broadway at Theater Row, Dani in Viva a workshop from emerging Mexican playwright Allie Talavera, Betsaida in La Egoista at Live and in Color, Pequin in Vermillion Million at Latine Musical Theater Lab and Marty in Tides at the Tank. They were a performer for the 2023 Telemundo Upfronts which was a commercial presentation celebrating Latinidad through the popular Television station Telemundo in May of 2023. Additionally, She had starred in a couple short films such as Cootie Catcher, Dystopia, and Wild Roses. The short film Wild Roses received accolades from several film festivals around the country such as The Student World Impact Festival, Seguin Film & Arts Festival, and more. They were part of the 23’-24’ Revolucion Latina Beyond Workshop Series which is an intensive training program aimed to enrich and uplift artists from Latino America and all over the world which had a recent screening of the documentary by the name of BEYOND: A R.Evolución Latina Documentary. Aside from her credits Angelika enjoys working as a teaching artist and has worked at wonderful organizations such as Statement Arts and NJPAC in both New Jersey and New York City.
