Hi my name is Michael, I grew up in Staten Island, NY and am currently living in Brooklyn. I have grown up playing basketball my entire life from the time I turned 3 all the way until the end of my freshman year in college. I was a 4 year varsity basketball starter and scored over 1000 points in my high school career. I even had the chance to play a little college basketball at the Division III level. From a young age, I had struggled to interact with other people. Basketball became the mechanism through which I made friends and turned my lack of social skills around. It gave me a way to relieve stress and have fun, especially when I was having a hard day. Basketball grew to be far more than just a sport to me. Basketball is truly my passion and I enjoy nothing more than passing on the knowledge I gained during my playing days onto the next generation of hoopers!
