• Before the first timer rings, the science begins! I love teaching students that baking is actually edible chemistry. From how baking soda makes a cupcake rise to why sugar caramelizes at exactly 160°C (320°F), my classes are a delicious lab where we learn how ingredients react to create magic.
• I am obsessed with global flavors! One of my favorite things to do is 'travel' through my kitchen. I’ve developed recipes that use exotic ingredients from all over the world, and I love showing students how a single spice or fruit can tell a story about a culture thousands of miles away.
• I don’t just bake my desserts; I architect them! Every major design I create starts as a hand-drawn sketch. I teach my students that being a great baker starts with being a great visionary—learning to 'see' the finished masterpiece on paper before we ever crack the first egg.

With over a decade of experience as a professional pastry artist and a certified NYC DOE vendor, I bring the art of the bakehouse into the heart of the school community. My mission through Togetherhood is to provide students and families with culturally competent, high-fidelity culinary experiences that blend technical skill-building with creative joy. As a Master Sugar Artist, my work has been featured by Essence and across New York City’s premier educational institutions. I specialize in transforming the kitchen into a classroom where students explore: Artisanal Baking & Decorating: Mastering the "Artistic Right" of dessert design. STEM in the Kitchen: The science of measurements, reactions, and culinary precision. Cultural Connection: Exploring global flavors that reflect the diverse backgrounds of our school communities. I am a passionate advocate for youth engagement, believing that every child should have the opportunity to master a craft that is as rich in skill as it is in flavor.
