Cindy M.
Spanish, musician and actress
New York City
- Many english words come from Spanish (and Vice versa), words like "rodeo" or patio. All come from Spanish. Kids love spotting "hidden spanish" in everyday English.
- Animal sounds are different in spanish. A rooster says "cock- a- doodle- doo", but in Spanish, it says "kikirikí!. I think its an easy way to remember "El canto de los gallos"
- Spanish is spoken on every continent!. From Argentina to Spain to parts of Africa and even U.S. - Spanish is everywhere, the reason why I love teaching to learn more about the culture behind the language in such a fun way.
Vibrant, versatile, and full of heart, I am a passionate performer with a voice (Soprano) that tells stories and a presence that lights up the stage. Originally from Ecuador and now based in the NYC area, blending my background in music, movement, and language into every role that step into. With a foundation in Contemporary dance and years of experience in vocal performance and teaching. Cindy leads with creativity, curiosity, and a whole lot of soul.
