Class Description

This playful introduction to Italian gives students the chance to explore a new language while discovering the culture that surrounds it. The focus is not on fluency but on creating a joyful and memorable first experience with Italian- one that sparks curiosity and excitement for language learning in the future. Students will learn simple greetings, common vocabulary, and phrases they can use in everyday conversation. Through games, songs, and creative activities, they’ll begin to recognize just how much Italian is all around us. As a special highlight, two classes will feature clips from Disney’s Luca, followed by lively discussions of the “Italianisms” they notice. By the end, students will be able to introduce themselves in Italian, use essential expressions, and maybe even order a gelato with confidence! Please note: A materials fee will be included.
