Class Description
Hydroponics and aquaponics are an important part of sustainable agriculture, especially in space-scarce urban areas. Our students will learn about urban farming and learn about the hydroponic system of using just nutrients mixed in water so that the plants receive the nutrition that they need to grow. The students learn about that process, how plants grow, photosynthesis, the importance of PH levels, pollination, and much more.
