Class Description
Learn about the Harlem Renaissance through the art that was made.
This class will highlight famous Harlem Renaissance artists, as well as the ways they used their environment, community, materials and techniques to create all kinds of artworks.
Students will learn about artists such as Romare Bearden, Jacob Lawrence, Faith Ringold and more. We will learn about and create paintings, collages, printmaking & drawing that share the students' narratives.
